Bengals dominate the Chiefs at Arrowhead

The Cincinnati Bengals' revamped defense came to the rescue Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. Seven sacks, two fumble recoveries, and an interception highlighted the improved defense in the 23-10 victory:

Carson Palmer threw for just 127 yards and none of Chad Johnson’s five catches came in the second half, but running back Rudi Johnson slogged for 96 yards on 28 carries that included a 22-yard touchdown run. Shayne Graham finished the scoring with 1:09 left on a 36-yard field goal.

"Marvin told us this is exactly how it would happen," said right tackle Willie Anderson. "He told us it wasn't going to be pretty, and it wasn't. He knows Coach Edwards and he knew what we were in for and he was exactly right..."
